Abundant Wildflowers are yours at the AStore.

Wildflowers are beautiful flowers that can be incorporated into your floral arrangements quite easily.  A few wildflowers can uniquely add spice to your seasonal arrangements, but you can also create exclusive arrangements filled with spectacular wildflowers.  No matter where you live, if you can get out into the countryside, out into the open woodlands, wetlands, meadows or mountains and even along the roadways, wildflowers can be abundantly found. 

Visiting your local Botanical Garden will also give you great ideas of the type of flowers that are in your area as well as to see the different colors, shapes and sizes available to you.  Make sure to visit and enjoy your local Wildflower Festival’s as well.  These are great ways for wildflower lovers to experience the unique abundance of wildflowers.

Feel free to mix and match your wildflowers, but if you also want to create a specific wildflower arrangement, depending on where you live, there are some books that can help you locate the exact wildflower you are looking for. 

• To assist in getting to know some of the different type of wildflowers in the Northeastern and North-Central America, there are two books that work very well together to help you identify the different species of floral.  The first book would be A Field Guide to Wildflowers : Northeastern and North-Central North America (Peterson Field Guides) and Newcomb's Wildflower Guide.

• If you live near or around the Mojave Desert, the Mojave Desert Wildflowers: A Field Guide to Wildflowers, Trees, and Shrubs of the Mojave Desert, Including the Mojave National Preserve, Death Valley National Park, and Joshua Tree National Park is an excellent book to help you determine the types of desert floral that are available.

• For those of you that may live in Texas or the surrounding states can get assisted by Wildflowers of Texas or if you live in and around Florida Wild Flowers and Roadside Plants.

• Wildflowers, (The New England Wild Flower Society) is a fascinating book.  So as not to forget around Tennessee, Wildflowers Of Tennessee, The Ohio Valley and the Southern Appalachians will not disappoint you.

• Wildflowers of the Pacific Northwest (Timber Press Field Guide) is a great guide to locate wildflowers in that area and for the California area try Wildflowers of California.

• To learn a little more background regarding wildflowers, such as, folklore, descriptive natural history, medicinal uses you will greatly enjoy the following book The Secrets of Wildflowers: A Delightful Feast of Little-Known Facts, Folklore, and History.
